Psychic Sketch Monroe House Time Lapse Video

During our paranormal investigation of the Monroe House, Kristen received many vivid images of why the house and property could be haunted. On the third day of our investigation Kristen drew this image.

Kristen Experiences with the house –

The house itself was difficult to investigate from purely a safety issue. It is in the process of being renovated and there was no running water, only a couple lights that actually worked–literally– and screws coming up thru the floor. A challenge on a good day! When I got to the house it felt strange, not in the way the Sallie house feels (creepy, being watched, heavy) but strange in the absence of those things. I’m not entirely sure how it got its name as the Demon House. I did see shadow play, I did see a man upstairs outside the room that we did Ouija in, I did at times feel like I had spirit around me and behind Liv. What I don’t know is if the man I saw was residual or not. He didn’t interact the way other spirit has with me before but was more just there. He gave me small pictures of what happened in the house during my sketching session of a family that was beat terribly and most likely killed and a lot of aggression and anger feelings. When I drew him and was done, I felt I drew him to young. He definitely felt older to me than my drawing shows. The room upstairs that I’m talking about and the room on the first floor where Tim was injured are the only two I really felt any kind of anything really in, with the exception of the first night when I felt a presence next to me in the carriage room. It was very confusing to me because I was really expecting to feel more activity. I really enjoyed doing the 100 candle ritual and felt like I was sitting around the campfire with Tim and Liv and all of you. It was certainly a challenge to tell that many stories but ultimately really cool. I thought the time that Tim spent in the pschomantium was intense especially when his third shadow was different than the others. When I was in there I didn’t really feel anything. I wanted to, but I just really didn’t. The energy of the house is strange. It feels abandoned, lonely, and sad. But not menacing or paranormally dangerous. I’d be interested to hear other investigators stories about their time there in comparison. Thanks to all of you who have spent time going over footage looking for things to screen shot, it helps so much and makes a big difference on the amount of evidence we end up with.

Haunted Burlington Hotel Port Costa Paranormal Video

Burlington Hotel and Port Costa History

The haunted Burlington hotel is located in the California ghost town of Port Costa.  Located on the transcontinental railroad with its only modern day access being the haunted McEwan Road, the Burlington Hotel opened for business in 1883.  Not much is known about the haunted hotel however it is reported that it served as a boarding school in the early 1900’s and later was used as a Bordello. The town of Port Costa was known by many to be an extremely lawless and rowdy town up until the 1960’s. Much of the towns buildings and houses were owned by a prominent family who purchased the land.   In the 1980’s many locals have stated that the hotel was also used for porn, and occult films.

Burlington Hotel Hauntings

The Burlington Hotel is believed to haunted by many ghosts and by a dark entity.  Many of the ghosts that are said to haunt the Burlington are that of the prostitutes that used to work in the building.  One of the psychics that we had brought to the hotel in 2005 picked up on several women spirits, including one who had hung herself in the hallway.  She also picked up an angry male spirit who she believed was one the managers at the Bordello.  Playful children spirits have also been reported at the hotel by numerous guests. We however do not think that the children are haunting this hotel rather we believe it to be something more sinister.  Walking inside the hotel it is quite easy to feel an overwhelming sadness, and darkness that inhabits the halls there.  Many people have complained of unexplained feelings of depression while staying at

the hotel.  Is this a hotel from hell? During our paranormal investigations we picked up numerous EVPs that appeared to be demonic in nature and one of our investigators was also physically attacked by an unseen force while laying on the bed.

Paranormal Caught on Camera

Capturing paranormal activity on camera is not an easy task.

It involves being at the right location, being there at the right time, having the right equipment to document the activity, and saying or doing the right things to provoke the activity.  What many people do not realize is that we spend countless hours at these locations trying different combinations of experiments so that we can experience and document the activity on the live paranormal investigation.

Paranormal Caught on Camera

In these paranormal videos we were lucky to have paranormal activity caught on camera.  In the first paranormal video we visited the Sallie House in Atchison Kansas. During our paranormal investigation we had psychic who performed a sketch of what she was seeing, during the sketch she became extremely emotional.  Shortly after the sketch we decided to run multiple EVP sessions in hopes of getting responses from the dark energy in home.  We were absolutely shocked at the responses that we caught on camera.

In the second paranormal video we visited Whispers Estate, in Mitchell Indiana.  The psychic was again present and was picking up on the Ouija Demon ZoZo.  After further investigation of the house we realized that the house had been used for multiple summoning rituals to contact demonic entities.  These summoning rituals included the usage of mirrors, and ouija boards.  Interesting enough there was a mirror in every room of the house.  It is been speculated that these mirrors are used throughout the house to create a large portal from which both ghosts and demons can enter in and out of.  Later in the video Tim Wood decided to summon the Ouija demon ZoZo in the seance room, when he suddenly became possessed on camera.

In the third paranormal video we are the Washoe Club in Virginia City with Mark and Debbie Constantino in 2014.  This was the last investigation that we did with them before they died tragically.  During the paranormal investigation both Mark and Debbie seemed troubled by a demon that they believed had attached to them.  While Debbie seemed frightened Mark seemed at times entranced by the evil.  Towards the end of the video you can hear the demon speak through Debbie’s voice recorder.

One Man Hide and Go Seek Alone, at the Sallie House

The game or ritual known as  “One-Man Hide and Seek,” aka the “One-Man Tag,” is a ritual for contacting the dead. The rituals main intent is to use the doll or stuffed animal as physical vessel for making contact with the dead.

I tried the ritual when I spent the night alone in the Sallie House.  I thought the Sallie House would be an interesting location to try the ritual because of the reported activity there.  One of the main reports of paranormal activity at the Sallie House is the demon which is known to take the form of a young girl.

One Man Hide and Seek Video

I have to admit that while I was preforming this ritual at the Sallie House I was quite freaked out, and it did seem to amplify the activity in the house.  I received numerous responses through EVP and through the Ghost Box while I was executing the ritual. After I ended the ritual and tried to get some sleep, I had the worst dream I had ever had that involved my family.  When I woke up I had scratches on my back. Was this from the activity in the home, or from the ritual?

How to play One Man Hide and Seek

Warning: If you have psychic abilities, you may feel unwell or be prone to accidents during the ritual.

Things You Need
One stuffed doll. It must have limbs.
Rice, enough to stuff the doll full.
One needle, and one crimson thread.

Tim playing One Man Hide and Seek at the Sallie House

One pair of nail clippers.
One sharp-edged tool, such as a knife, glass shard, or scissors.
One cup of salt water. Natural salt would be best.
A bathroom, with a bathtub and some form of counter.
A hiding place, preferably a room purified by incense and ofuda. There must be a TV in there.

One Man Hide and Seek Prep

  • Take out whatever the doll is stuffed with. Once all of its stuffing is removed, re-stuff it with rice.
  • Clip off a few pieces of your nails, and put them inside the doll. Sew up the opening with the crimson thread. When you finish sewing, tie up the doll with the rest of the thread.
  • Go to the bathroom and fill your bathtub with water.
  • Return to your hiding place, and put the cup of salt water on the ground.

How to Play

  • Give a name to your doll. The name can be any but your own.
  • When the time is 3 AM, say “(your name) is the first it,” to the doll three times.
  • Go to the bathroom, and put the doll into the water-filled bathtub.
  • Turn off all of the lights in your house, go back to the hiding place, and switch on the TV.
  • After counting to ten with your eyes closed, return to the bathroom with the edged tool in your hand.
  • Go to the bathtub, and, say to the doll, “I have found you, (the doll’s name).” Stab the doll with the edged tool.
  • Say, “You are the next it, (the doll’s name),” as you take the doll out of the bathtub and leave it on the counter in the bathroom.
  • As soon as you have put the doll down, run back to the hiding place, and hide.

How to finish

  • Pour half of the cup of salt water into your mouth. Do not drink it, just keep it there.
  • Get out of your hiding place, and start looking for the doll. The doll is not necessarily in the bathroom. Whatever happens, do not spit out the salt water.
  • When you find the doll, pour the rest of the salt water in the cup over it. Then, spit out the salt water in your mouth onto it as well.
  • Say, “I win,” three times.
  • This is supposed to end the ritual.

After this, make sure you dry the doll, burn, and discard it later.

MOST IMPORTANT:
Please do not stop this ritual halfway. You must do it through to the end. This is a dangerous ritual, and I will not be responsible for what happens to you if you try.

Other things to keep in mind while playing

  • Do not leave your house until you have done the finishing ritual.
  • You must turn off every single light in your house when told to do so.
  • You must keep quiet while hiding.
  • You do not need to put the salt water in your mouth during the beginning. You only need to do it during the finishing ritual.
  • Remember, if you are living with someone, you might put them in danger too.
  • Keep the ritual/”game” under two hours, or else the spirit will be too strong to remove.
  • For safety reasons, it might be best to keep all the doors in the house unlocked, including your front door. As well, have friends close by, so that they can come and help you at a moment’s notice, if you ever need them. Keeping a mobile close at hand would be a good idea too.

Important Things of Note

  • The rice represents innards, and also has the role of attracting spirits.
  • The crimson thread represents a blood vessel. It seals the spirit(s) up inside the doll.
  • By cutting the thread off, you break the seal and release the spirit(s) you have trapped.
  • If you go out of the hiding place without salt water, you may encounter “something wandering around” in your house, which may harm you in some way. The way to feel the presence of “something wandering around” is to watch “what happens to the TV.”

Were the Constantinos Haunted?

The Constantinos – EVP Specialists

Mark and Debbie Constantino also known as the “Constantino’s” were known for their unique ability to capture live EVPS.  About 5 years ago I was introduced to them at the Washoe Club during a GAC event.  Over the five years that we knew each other we had always remained in contact and became friends.  We would often call each other to share paranormal experiences, and advise each other on paranormal cases.  I had always known the Debbie and Mark Constantino as being kind, loyal, extremely giving, and as great friends.  Without them, I can say that I would not be where I am today. Back in late November of 2014, I did not know that the investigation that we performed at the Washoe Club in Virginia City where our paths had originally crossed would be the final time that I would get to investigate with them.

Were Mark and Debbie Constantino Haunted?

Since I met the Constantino’s they had always believed that something was haunting them.  However, as time passed these thoughts of an entity following them and haunting their home only increased.  It was their belief that a singular demon was haunting them.  Both Mark and Debbie as evidenced in this video clearly seemed shaken up by the EVP that was captured at 2:01:08, little did we know at the time that this EVP was very telling of the events that were about to unfold.  Could they have been under attack by a demonic presence, or was it just due to mental illness?  These are the questions that will forever haunt us.

Although many people have a negative view of them due to the murder-suicide, their deaths they will always remain in my thoughts.  Rest in Peace Debbie and Mark.

Is the movie the Conjuring 2 based on a True Story?

The Conjuring was one of the biggest horror blockbusters in recent memory and it only makes sense that the producers would make sequel. As with most horror movies the producers often try to blend fiction with facts, in order to make the movie bit scarier.  The first Conjuring movie according to Andrea Perron who lived in the house contained very little of the true story that actually occurred at the house.  So how much of the Conjuring 2, is based on a true story?

What was the Warren’s Involvement in the Real Conjuring 2 case?

Guy Playfair – The “Real” Enfield Haunting Paranormal Investigator

Although we haven’t seen the Conjuring 2 movie yet, we can already tell by the movie cast that the main characters are Ed and Lorraine Warren. According to many sources including the main investigators Mr. Playfair Ed and Lorraine Warren had no involvement in the Enfield Poltergeist case, and never performed a paranormal investigation on the case. During an interview on Darkness Radio, head paranormal investigator for the Enfield Poltergeist Case Guy Lyon Playfair stated:

Dave Schrader: Mr. Playfair, I’m sure you’re familiar with Ed and Lorraine Warren and their research and work. Have they ever worked along with the Society for Psychical Research?

Guy Lyon Playfair: No. I bumped into Ed Warren once or twice, and Lorraine… and I got the impression that Ed Warren was, well.. (laughs) fill in your own expletive. I wasn’t impressed at all. Lorraine is still living, so I’ll refrain from commenting on her, but she was very… quite pleasant when I met her.

They did turn up once, I think, at Enfield, and all I can remember is Ed Warren telling me that he could make a lot of money for me out of it. So I thought, “well thats all I need to know from you” and I got myself out of his way as soon as I could. I said was not impressed. He didn’t spend… I don’t think he went there more than once. And I did read

“The Warren’s” – Lorraine and Ed Warren

somewhere a transcript of a lengthy interview which he’s alleged to have with one of the girls – which they couldn’t remember giving him – and it was describing all sorts of marvelous wonders which I don’t think ever happened. I think he was a complete…um… well… (laughs)… fill in whatever word…

Dave: (laughs) I understand. So you don’t feel that – and especially in the interactions you had with him – you don’t feel that maybe they had the best intentions when it came to the investigations of these cases?

Guy: No, they just wanted to make money out of it.

Dave: Okay. Did – have you heard, or in your research, have you come across any proof that Ed or Lorraine Warren had anything to do with consulting or being a part of this investigation?

Guy: Certainly not. Nobody ever mentioned them. I mean, I don’t think anybody in the family had ever heard of him until he turned up. Uninvited. And uh..

Dave: Oh, so just came out…

Guy: …he said who he was and he didn’t come again and we just sort of forgot about him.

Dave: So he came out to the site uninvited, and just showed up to try and insert himself into the story, is what you maintain?

Guy: Thats what I remember, yes.

Dave: Okay, fascinating.

Guy: It was quite brief. He was just one.. we had so many people coming and going. I mean I remember one day he did turn up. I think Lorraine was there as well – I’d also met them in Brazil. They sort of pop up all over the place. And it was just no big deal at all. I mean, I had a brief conversation with Ed at Enfield, and as I say, he was telling me how much money he’d help me make, and I politely declined his help, and I strained that that’s not what we exist for in the SPR, and that was the last time I saw him.

How did the Conjuring 2 “true” story begin?

A view outside of the real Enfield haunted house

The real story that the Conjuring 2 is based on is the Enfield Poltergeist Case whose paranormal events took place in the late 1970’s. According to Peggy Hodgson (the mother), the haunting of her Enfield home began on the evening of August 30, 1977. It was on that night that her daughter Janet told her that her brothers’ beds were wobbling. The next evening, Mrs. Hodgson heard a loud noise from upstairs. She entered her children’s bedroom and saw a chest of drawers moving. She tried to stop the heavy oak chest as it moved toward the door, concluding that an invisible force was trying to trap them in the room.

“It started in a back bedroom, the chest of drawers moved, and you could hear shuffling,” recalled the real Janet Hodgson many years later in a Channel 4 Enfield Poltergeist documentary. Thinking that it was Janet and her siblings making the noise, she said that her mother told them to go to sleep. “We told her what was going on, and she came to see it for herself. She saw the chest of drawers moving. When she tried to push it back, she couldn’t.”-Daily Mail Online

Did crosses actually turn upside down during the Enfield Poltergeist Case?

No there were never any claims of crosses being turned upside down.  Why the Conjuring 2 which supposedly is based on a true story put this in the trailer and in the movie is beyond us.

Did Janet Hodgson really get thrown in the air by poltergeist?

In The Conjuring 2 movie based on a true story, Janet daughter of Peggy (Madison Wolfe) finds herself pinned against the ceiling by the demonic poltergeist. According to Janet and Peggy this is a complete exaggeration of what allegedly happened in real life during the Enfield haunting. There are suspect photographs of the real Janet Hodgson “levitating” only show her a short distance above her bed (see below). This, coupled with the way her body is positioned in the air, has led many paranormal researchers to believe that she simply jumped from her bed. The questionable photos were taken by Daily Mirror photographer Graham Morris after the family contacted the press (it should be noted that the Daily Mirror is a UK tabloid newspaper whose stories have often proven less than credible). “The levitation was scary,” recalled Janet, “because you didn’t know where you were going to land.”

A series of 3 photographs which supposedly shows Janet being hurled up in the air by the poltergeist.

Supporting the family’s claims were two witnesses, a baker and a lollipop lady, who were passing by outside and claimed to have seen Janet hovering above her bed as they looked through an upstairs window. “The lady saw me spinning around and banging against the window,” recalls Janet. “I thought I might actually break the window and go through it.” -Daily Mail Online

So is the Conjuring 2 movie based on a true story?

Well it looks like the only part of the Conjuring 2 movie that might be true, might be the fact that the producers have the haunting occurring in Enfield, UK.  Being in the paranormal field for over 10 years and putting numerous hours investigating, reviewing, and trying to document anomalous phenomena for clients, I find it absolutely disgusting that the Warren’s will forever be attached to this case even though they absolutely had nothing to do with.  Even more disgusting is the fact that this movie claims to be based on true story, when it it clearly isn’t.
