About livescifi.tv
Created by Tim Wood, our paranormal investigation series first aired in 2006 and became the first true POV paranormal livestream on the internet. Since then, we’ve produced over 1,000 live broadcasts from hundreds of reportedly haunted locations across the United States, along with hundreds of published paranormal articles documenting our research, evidence, and real-time experiences in the field.
Over the years, our paranormal videos and live ghost hunts have been featured across major streaming and media platforms including Justin.tv, Yahoo!, Ustream, Travel Channel, Machinima, and YouTube. Since launching in 2006, our investigations have collectively generated more than 600 million video views, reaching millions of viewers around the world who follow our work and tune in to witness paranormal activity as it unfolds.
At LiveSciFi, we focus on capturing real paranormal experiences—in real environments—using investigative methods built around observation, documentation, and evidence. Our goal is simple: to record authentic paranormal phenomena, preserve credible footage whenever possible, and share those moments with a global audience without filters or exaggeration.
We take our viewers inside some of the most haunted locations in the country, where we conduct high-intensity investigations and some of the most extreme paranormal experiments available in modern field research. Every investigation is designed to push deeper—testing claims, documenting environmental changes, and actively pursuing the strongest possible evidence while keeping the experience immersive and transparent for our audience.
What makes our platform unique is that it’s built for real-time participation. Viewers don’t just watch—they interact. Our livestream format allows our audience to follow the investigation as it happens, participate in the conversation, and experience the tension, discovery, and unexplained activity alongside the team in the moment.
Today, our ghost hunts are livestreamed bi-weekly on LiveSciFi.tv and on our YouTube channel. If you miss a live broadcast, full episodes are immediately embedded on our website so you can watch on-demand anytime. For live interaction during an investigation, we recommend connecting with us on Twitter/X at @livescifi.
Most importantly, our investigations are always free. We do not charge any fee to investigate, and we never have. Since 2008, our paranormal investigations have been offered completely free of charge—and that commitment will remain a core part of what we do.

Jen Wold
Admin for LiveSciFi, lifelong explorer of the unexplained, and believer that the past leaves traces behind.
My interest in the paranormal began in childhood after personal experiences that made me question what exists beyond the ordinary. Finding LiveSciFi and Tim’s live investigations gave me a front-row seat to real-time paranormal exploration — the perfect place to watch, learn, and dive deeper into the unknown.
I’m also a treasure hunter. Constantly searching for unique objects from the past. Over time, I’ve encountered items that feel more than just old—they feel active. I believe certain objects can act as trigger objects, holding energy and emotional imprints that connect to their history. These experiences continue to shape how I view the paranormal world and deepen my passion for uncovering what lies beneath the surface.
