How hard would it be to Mount the head Cam onto something like a Remote Control Truck? What all would be involved..Besides the Cash for the truck??
A Place like Wolfe Manor would be great to try that. Put the truck with Cam mounted on it, upstairs, and then control it from downstairs Watching the Feed on the laptop. With the Truck roving alone, and the Cam pointed up at an angle, It might Catch something that a human being there wouldn't catch! Just make sure it doesn't Go down a Hole or something.
Could tweak the motor to make it more Silent when it runs!
It would be like the Mars Rover, but it would be a Para-Rover.
You could even put a walkie on the ROVER, and a Voice Recorder. And Flashlight.
The truck would have to be pretty Sturdy with good wheels, and an open flatbed back to put any Equipment back that the Cam, would need, plus the Voice Recorder and the Flashlight, and Walkie.
Call it the LIVE-SCIFI ROVER!!

that would be a ton of fun to watch and might even get more activity due to a curiousity factor. hmmm I say try it out.
Just finding a rover with a good battery life and still affordable would probably be more of a challenge then attaching the cam to it.

Alex great idea we have just started begun to build this baby..we should have unveiled in a couple weeks thanks for the great suggestion..
Great Idea Torchwood we might have to employ this on our show, this would be a great tool to use in places that are inacessible to us, but could also provoke a certain level of curosity.
It would be a mobile rotoroter cam steve which has proven to be a valued asset to you and your team now its time to take it mobile lol

Great idea. I saw one the other night on tv. I cant remember the name of the show. But this paranormal group used it, and it looked as though it really works. I like Steves idea about even useing them to provoke too.

and of course the person controlling the rover could get input from viewers on where they would like the rover to go. Even have it so viewers decide where it might stay and rest during breaks and if it's within range to the break place and viewers see something odd we could txt one of the guys or gals near the remote to move the rover slightly and see if that helps bring more attention to it. Since if the place had activity that was intelligent and knew the team was away and suddenly moved when it was near it could inspire even more curiosity.

Hey Steve, I was just wondering. If we happen to see the Rover pop up on an episode of Ghost Hunters, will livescifi.tv get a little plug? Maybe a sticker or something on the rover itself,like on Nascar....Ghost Hunters/Livescifi.tv....Has a nice ring to it 😁

that would be so neat to see. Even if it's the livescifi logo and only us livescifi viewers recognize it.

This Rover sure would help Tim's poor head in a few places in the future too. And it would be really great if we the vewiers could control it while they were on break. That would be too cool! But the funniest thing Would be to see one of the team members making the truck sneek up on another team member and scaring them. I can see them having a lot of fun with this new piece of equiment LOL.

they dont need one lol they have their Roto Rooter cam that they use quite often acutally lol...

I would highly suggest that you put a parchute on it as well as inflatable bumpers so that when Jay or Tim decide to try to see how far it will go when the launch it from the top of the stairs..........

ok Paranormal State beat us to it guys lol.. Tonights episode they are investagating an underground railroad tunnel and they sent in a remote control car with a camera attached to it.. Danigit lol Ours will be better will go off road and have 4 wheel drive in case it snows lol..

Tim said that we will be able to drive the rover via the internet. If i understood correct. That would be a first. A total interactive rover that we can control from our computer at home.
Think of the possibilites.
It's on tonight on Paranormal State huh? I'll have to check it out and see what ideas we can "borrow" off of it 😉
