Inside this investigation
Here I step back from the equipment and talk about what living in the Welles House felt like. This is diary-camera and interview material, giving you my account of the stay rather than a new sequence of experiments. It helps explain the personal stakes behind the investigation, but recollection and directly recorded evidence are different things. As you watch, consider which experiences I describe, what questions remain open, and which earlier or later recordings might provide additional context.
As you watch, keep track of who is speaking and whether they are recalling an event, interpreting a recording or answering a broader question. Those differences are useful when comparing this account with an earlier investigation. The original description remains available below, and the episode navigation provides a route back through the series. If you contribute to this discussion, identify the time of the statement and describe which original recording you believe it concerns. That helps us examine the account carefully while preserving the personal perspective that makes these interviews part of the archive.

What is it really like to live inside a house believed to be haunted by something sinister? In Episode 4 of A House Worse Than Amityville, I sit down in front of the diary camera to share my personal experiences inside the infamous Welles House in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. I'm Tim Wood, founder of LiveSciFi, and unlike investigators who spend just a few hours inside a reportedly haunted location, I actually lived inside the Welles House for approximately a month while investigating its alleged paranormal activity. This episode takes a more personal approach to the investigation. Through interview and diary-camera footage, I discuss the unexplained experiences, disturbing encounters, and questions that emerged during my time inside the property. The Welles House, located at 46 South Welles Street, has a long history of reported hauntings, alleged demonic activity, unexplained sounds, shadow figures, and frightening experiences described by former residents. But hearing stories about a haunted house is one thing. Actually living inside it, sleeping there night after night, and trying to understand what's happening around you is something entirely different. In this installment, I share my perspective on the investigation, what I experienced, and why the Welles House left such a lasting impression on me. **Was the Welles House truly worse than Amityville? What was responsible for the experiences we reported inside the property?** Watch Episode 4 and hear my firsthand account. ๐ป READ MY COMPLETE WELLES HOUSE HISTORY & HAUNTING ARTICLE:
