Inside this investigation
Episode 29 preserves an extended static-camera view, with the basement lights drawing particular interest from viewers. One report describes numerous orb-like objects near the end, while another suggests insects as an explanation. Neither report supplies a precise moment to turn into a chapter. I have kept that limitation visible rather than inventing an offset. The useful next step is to locate a specific sequence, follow the objects across several frames and compare what they look like with ordinary infrared-camera effects.
For this website edition, I suggest beginning with the full camera view and choosing one observation at a time. Note which part of the image changes, how long it remains visible and whether the same effect returns. Keep the surrounding footage in your comparison, including periods when nothing unusual seems to happen. The complete original description is preserved below. When you join the episode discussion, include a timestamp and the camera position so another viewer can reproduce your review. The adjacent episode links let you compare this recording with the wider investigation.

GHOST ORBS ALL OVER THE WELLES HOUSE BASEMENT? Watch the original overnight security-camera footage from 46 Welles Street and decide: paranormal activity, or bugs and dust caught in infrared light? I'm Tim Wood, founder of LiveSciFi. In Episode 29 of A House Worse Than Amityville, we're watching the security cameras inside the reportedly haunted Welles House at 46 South Welles Street in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Unlike our active Ouija board or ghost box sessions, this episode is extended static-camera footage. The investigation here is about what the cameras recorded, especially the basement view. One viewer reported seeing numerous orb-like lights in the basement almost at the very end of the video. Another viewer offered a completely different explanation: lots of bugs flying around, easily mistaken for ghost orbs. That's exactly the kind of discussion I want to have. What can we actually observe in the recording, and what might explain it? THE BASEMENT ORBS — WATCH NEAR THE END A viewer specifically pointed to a cluster of bright, floating objects near the end of this long livestream. If you're reviewing the archive, start with the late portion of the video and focus on the basement camera. Do the lights drift, dart across the frame, change size, or appear to vanish? Do they move in front of a wall or look like they are passing right by the lens? There isn't a verified exact timestamp for this report yet, so I'm not going to give you a made-up chapter marker. If you find the moment, please post the time in the comments so everyone can go directly to the same footage. ARE THESE GHOST ORBS OR INSECTS? In paranormal investigation footage, an "orb" usually describes a circular or glowing spot visible on camera. Some viewers interpret these lights as spirit activity, but night-vision security cameras can make ordinary objects look unusual. Infrared light reflecting off dust, insects, moisture, or spiderwebs close to the lens can create bright, soft-edged shapes. A nearby bug may look huge and seem to travel impossibly fast because the camera cannot show its true distance. This doesn't mean we should ignore every strange recording. It means we should review the original video carefully. Compare multiple objects on the same camera, notice whether they go in and out of focus, and look for changes in exposure or background lighting. A single security-camera angle often can't tell us exactly what an object was. WHY WE RECORDED THE WELLES HOUSE OVERNIGHT The Welles House investigation was about more than what happened while we were asking questions or walking through the rooms. We left cameras running for extended periods so the LiveSciFi audience could examine the property independently, notice activity we might have missed, and share exact timestamps for us to review. The basement was one area viewers kept watching. On a long security feed, even a small change can stand out against an otherwise still room. But a quiet room on screen doesn't necessarily mean nothing ordinary is moving nearby. That's why these unedited stretches matter: they show the context before and after any possible anomaly. ABOUT THE WELLES HOUSE — 46 SOUTH WELLES STREET The Welles House is located at 46 South Welles Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA, and is often searched simply as 46 Welles Street. Our A House Worse Than Amityville series follows the reported haunting through live investigations and security-camera recordings. Reports of ghosts, spirits, and unexplained lights are claims to be examined, not automatic proof of a supernatural cause. HELP US REVIEW EPISODE 29 Did you see the basement lights near the end of the stream? Do they look like a group of orbs, flying insects, dust, or something else? Please leave the EXACT TIMESTAMP and tell us which camera you're watching. If you've spotted a different moment worth reviewing, share that too. And if you can identify an ordinary explanation, I want to hear it. The more specific our observations are, the easier it is for the whole LiveSciFi community to investigate together. You don't have to agree on what the lights are; just show us where you saw them and what you noticed. WATCH THIS EPISODE:
