Inside this investigation
Dave, Patrick and I investigate reported scratches, possible voices and surfaces that react during BlueStar testing. The corrected description and chapter heading both identify this recording as Episode 47. Its link to Episode 46 explicitly points to the previous hamper investigation, giving viewers context for the object examined again here. A glowing reagent response is a presumptive test result, not a laboratory identification of human blood. Review the application and discussion alongside the limitations described in the original notes, and compare the earlier investigation through that reference.
I suggest watching the setup before jumping to the most striking reaction. Ask what the investigators are doing, which device is producing information and what the camera can actually show. The chapter controls help you return to a moment while keeping that wider sequence available. The complete original notes below preserve the account as it was supplied. Use this episode's discussion to share an exact timestamp, a screenshot where useful and a clear distinction between your observation and your explanation. The neighboring episodes provide additional context for how the investigation developed.

DID SOMETHING SCRATCH MY BACK DURING AN OUIJA BOARD SESSION—AND WHY DID THE FLOOR START GLOWING? During our Welles House investigation, Dave and Patrick found raised marks on my back, while viewers flagged a possible moving door and eerie whispers. Later, we pulled back carpet and used a forensic reagent on the floor and walls. What caused those reactions? I'm Tim Wood, founder of LiveSciFi. In Episode 47 of A House Worse Than Amityville, I investigate the reportedly haunted Welles House at 46 South Welles Street in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania (also searched as 46 Welles Street) with Dave Spinks and Patrick. We conduct EVP experiments, use a Ouija board, speak with a remote psychic medium, and examine suspicious surfaces with BlueStar, a luminol-based presumptive blood-detection reagent. 2:57:54 More glowing reactions on the wall DID SOMETHING SCRATCH MY BACK? At 1:36:25, Dave and Patrick photograph multiple raised marks on my back during the aftermath of an Ouija board experiment. A viewer also points out that a nearby door appears to open while the team is occupied. Later, around 2:05:00, our remote guest raises a possible ordinary explanation for the scratches, and we discuss the disagreement on camera. We documented the marks, but we did not establish what caused them. Watch the footage and judge the timing for yourself. EVP WHISPERS, A GROWL AND A POSSIBLE CHILD'S GIGGLE At 10:22, the team reacts to a growl-like sound while reviewing EVP audio. Around 42:33, a viewer hears what sounds like a young girl's voice during our medium's discussion of a child and the number six. Other viewers flagged an “open, open” whisper at 1:28:18, a brief childlike giggle at 1:44:44, and an uncertain voice during the break at 1:57:49. These are viewer interpretations of faint sounds—not confirmed spirit voices. Try listening with headphones before reading the suggested words. WHAT MADE THE FLOOR AND WALLS GLOW? At 2:29:14, we remove carpet and apply BlueStar near the upstairs baseboards. Some areas glow. At 2:57:54, we see additional reactions on a wall. BlueStar is a presumptive forensic screening reagent: a reaction is NOT proof that blood is present. Certain cleaning products, metals and other substances may cause misleading results, and we present no confirmatory laboratory test in this episode. What we filmed raises questions, not conclusions about the house's history. THE SCRATCHED WOODEN HAMPER RETURNS At 2:46:30, we revisit the wooden hamper examined during an earlier investigation. Its unusual marks and holes were already there when we found it. We examine the object again during the forensic testing, but we don't know whether animals, wear or another cause made the scratches. There's no verified connection between the marks and any reported paranormal sound. WATCH THE PREVIOUS HAMPER INVESTIGATION — EPISODE 46:
