One sorry I put things in the wrong section...

#2 What do you think of someone that calls them selves Certified Paranormal Investigators... a through the mail thingie at that.

And 3 Have you ever thought of using a plasma ball at places? My thought and this is just me, spirits get energy from static and / or electricity... hence a plasma ball PLUS if they touch it you could see it show up. Just a running thought comes off of something I read only done with larger equipment.

hey gaunder!

sorry for the late response to this post as I took a mini vacation yesterday!
Anyways, I don't really believe in most certification programs, because I feel that most of them try to fraud the paranormal community. I myself have in the past attended and paid for some of Loyd Auerbach's courses which I really enjoyed not so much to say that I was "certified" but to learn/and hear advice from someone how has investigated a lot longer then I. Most of the online coarses that I have seen are quite lame, and I feel that any beginner ghost hunter book at barnes and nobles would suffice in terms of knowledge then what you pay for an online course.
We have used something like a plasma ball in the past, Vander Graf Generator, and an Ion Cannon, which have yielded pretty interesting results however you must be EXTREMELY careful when using such devices on an investigation.
