Hey LiveSciFi team! I just wanted to say first that you all are doing a terrific job and it's great to watch your investigations. My question is what type of batteries do you use for some of the equipment?
Thank you
~Ariana
Hey Ariana!
Thanks so much for joining the investigations!
Batteries.... lawzee, do I go thru the batteries! The rest of team can give you their expert-testimony on batteries, but I use a few different kinds. Some of my equipment uses rechargables, but I try not to use those for equipment that's specific to gathering evidence.... i.e., I'll use the rechargables for my walkies, flashlights.... etc When it comes to digital voice recorders, EMF detector, etc... I'll use brand new brand-name batteries for each and every investigation, so that any anomalies are unlikely to be blamed on low-batteries. And for my digital still camera, I always use brand new lithium batteries.
It's always interesting when I put new batteries into all of my equipment and then enter a location, only to have ALL of them drain quickly. I think there might be something to the theory that paranormal activity can sometimes use battery-power in order to manifest.
Hope that helps!
xo 🙂
Thank you Les for the info! Lithium batteries do go along time unlike the rechargable ones. I myself prefer those, but with the way I use my digi cam it's hard on the wallet.
Also I was wondering about something. After the surgery I had they had given me a medication that contains Alkaline. So I'm wondering could some feelings in your investigations and the draining of batteries could be the same?
Hey Ariana.......I just use regular Duracell batteries.....AA & AAA.....they seem to last longer than the other brand. I keep a pocket full of batteries on investigations.....I seem to go thru alot of them as well as sharing them with the MASTER........Norene
Hey Windsong! Would you believe it that I tried Duracell and Energizer and they don't seem to last as long as Rayovac!? Well for my MP3, portable touch lamp and flashlights. I do however use Energizer rechargeable batteries for my digi cam with a 2450mAh so it means I don't have to worry about it running out of juice while off the charger. I never knew that after awhile the rechargeable batteries that come with your camera only last as long as 2 years. Kind of sucks!
