[Closed] Mods needed ASAP Pleeze

Wow I thought this had already been settled? There is always going to be some idiot that says that there are favorites. They just need to get over themselves. That is the reason that the mods were taken away the first time. Whoever the mods are need to get a little tougher and do some kicking out of chat to get everyones attention that they can and will do it. I for one am as always going to go as far as they will let me just to see how far i can go....lol not really.

For those whose dontlike whats going on in the main room ,thats what we got the other room for now. Go to it.

😮 not sure what has been going on, but i have been very busy personally in my life, NOW IM BACK AS OF TODAY, and happy to be here!!!. The main room or lobby is for a touch of fun and talking about the show etc. the serious room is for THE SERIOUS to chat..and it works 🙂

well ryhno this isnt jtv...lol This is trying to be a serious content site i hope. i know i will let myself get caught up in the rhetoric on occasion ,but when the feed is up i try not to say anything unless i read something that just gets my attention. if you want a kiddie room stay on jtv.

Investigations are supposed to be FUN......and when you consider how much cursing goes on legitimately during an investigation......(Grant saying, "I almost crapped my pants!" on taps for instance.)......Ghost hunting tends to be an adult sport, not just for the kiddies.....

and I will predict, if you limit chat to only the investigation, you will lose viewers, period.....spending 5 hours listening to other people talk and joke around and not try to have some fun yourself, via chat, is simply asking TOO much....

If you got a problem with anything I say or do personally, come to me and talk to me about it.....I'm an adult and would surprise you with a level of understanding and compassion to your viewpoint.

But, if anyone thinks anyone is going to act like we're in church, watching livescifi for hours at a time LATE AT NIGHT, is simply in need of adjusting their expectations.....perhaps the complainer's are expecting TOO much, rather than people not expecting more of themselves.

Also, for the record....there's a time and place for everything...if it isn't cool, it's just not cool, so cut it out....

other than that, lighten up and have a good time......jump in when you want and sit back when you haven't anything to say.....it's all good but, please do not try to POLICE other people's enjoyment.

Tim I believe the whole concept of a moderator is just that, everything in moderation. I have noticed on all investigations there appears to be highs and lows in the shows. When we are all enthralled in the subject matter, the inane chatter needs to be calmed. That said there are times where levity really breaks the tension on an intense investigation easing and bringing balance back to all concerned. Thank you for your time and patience to all livescifiers.

I still think that they're should be separate rooms , one maybe 18 and over so that we dont get in trouble. Cus with new ppl they will start to complain, and ya know how that is lol.

It doesn't bother me personally but seeing that any 13 yr old can register and watch the investigation is a problem. I can understand and do joke and BS before investigation but once it starts it takes away when we are reading about peoples private parts being stuck on a leather chair, asking people to join in so the Mod3 will boot everyone, so no one will be left in chat and just to repeat what is said on the investigation just for shock value is mute. (this was the mild stuff) We all can here what is being said.

Yes I did let my own 15 year old watch tonight. She wants to investigate with me and I wanted her to experience what an investigation was like. She was warned about language, we were in same room and she was supervised. She was prepared for the possibility of provoking. I moved her into the serious room as soon as I could but still had to explain why these adults were acting like that.

Some may think that 15 is too young for her to be involved in investigation but for some reason the spirits have not read that rule book as she is having experiences. I would like her to be empowered by understand what is going on and I felt that this investigating group was a great way to have her learn before actually going out on an investigation with Mom.

Everyone has their limits, but there is a big difference between cussing and being down right vulgar.

Personally I saw 3 ppl that crossed the line. Joking is fine hell I do that but cussing and putting down Tim I have issues with that.

Not watch grown ppl act like 2 years olds. Thats why they have PM's if you wanna be dipwits use that. Yup hey have ignore and yup I have some ppl on it but to ignore 1/4 of the chat room? No, why should I, restain yourself and act like adults. Theres a time and a place...serious investiagtions no..Q&A thursday when ppl cut lose , sure.

I guess there needs to be a link to the TOS for a refresher for the ones that dont know.

uh was there any mods there last night? I was only on for about an hour and didnt pay attention. I guess we need to put a link in the registration to read the TOS when they sign up.

Maybe an age limit would help with a few of them.

I love to joke and we know Tim has a Booty Fan Club on here which I am one of 😆 But as my husband reminded me this morning this is a paranormal investigation feed. Something that anyone who is interested can and should be able to watch without feeling uncomfortable. We are lucky enough to have whisper and pm to use. If you are interested in the XXX stories and chat there are free feeds for that interest also.

As for bashing any investigator that is so wrong. I saw people (some members I NEVER thought I would have seen it from) bashing 2 of the investigators and could not believe how ungrateful people can be. We all have our opinions on how we would do an investigation. But if you are so opinionated against what is going on there is a button call "shut down." Yes I can use it also but I am here for the long haul because of my passion to learn everything I can so if that means putting up with stuff like last night I will for myself, my daughter and our group here in Visalia.

Tim and the group don't have to do this. It would be less of a headache for Tim just to do his investigations and not worry about what is going on in the chat. And poor Noreen sitting there watching it happen and then having to tell Tim during the investigation.

Mod 3 was there for a while but a couple of old timers suggested that "if we all" followed them they can't booted the whole chat room, don't know what happened but Mod3 left.

Please do not get me wrong I did not and do not expect a Church setting, it really takes a lot to get to me (I ran a Swingers Club) but when it is distracting to 3/4's the room something is wrong.

And as for the Serious Room that was a Joke last night because they came in there.

Anyways for the most part on most nights it is the most enjoyable and informative feed out there. I prefer my daughter to watch this instead of PRS, GH, MH and others because she can see the real time, effort and true passion behind investigations. She was very appreciative to those who spoke with her and took time to get to know her. For those who made fun and sang the X-rated Barney song. Touche.... she is over it. Mom is getting there......

After putting in some hours modding the ustream chat, as well as watching the chat on the site, I have a new respect for Tim and his efforts, as well as anyone who tries to moderate chat rooms fairly. I try to let people voice their opinions...as long as they do so respectfully. No name calling or bashing are tolerated by me, but I will let differences in opinion stand.

That being said, the chat in both places was up and down, with periods of valid questions. The cussing and crude behavior wasn't a new thing, but People were warned of youngsters being present, yet they continued the downward spiral....sad, really.

As for Tim and Co.- Should they REALLY have to be babysitting us in chat? It is frustrating enough setting up an investigation without worrying over the chat. Time to reel yourselves in a little......

I will continue to mod the ustream chat when I can, as it gives me a chance to send people to the site, and possibly sway some skeptic minds, as well as learn about why people are skeptic. BUT- don't expect to wander into the chat and be an ass. You will get the godlike powers inflicted upon you( too bad the people who need to hear this will never read it here) and POOF!!!...banned from ustream chat.

Again, respect everyone, and speak your mind respectfully.....
