It's possessed by the demon from Jimmy's *Laugh*

I've done chat thingies since ummm The first AOL, I think it was called GNN or something like that...anyways you have issues with Net splits and lags.

ok Andrew try this,

- uninstall your current version of java
-install java from here http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_ie.jsp?locale=en&host=www.java.com:80

it sounds clear your old version of java is still loading the old chat from your temp files.

If still persists open up your java console and clear you x-loader cache by going to Tools>Sun Microsystems Java Console>CTRLC>CONTRLX

let me know if this works![/url]

Norene,
--when you go to chat, and you wait for it to upload, below, on what is called your "system tray" --where a bunch of little icons sit, you should have a white box with the java squiggle in it.--(or go to your "tools" in your browser above & find the "sun java console" & click on that)
--right click on that box, you'll see console.
--click on that. now you have it open, and you should clear it by pressing "CTRL C" buttons & then "CTRL X".
--you can also clear it by clicking a "clear" button that is on the console.

give that a try. see if it helps!

let us know! 😁

Windsong I was having the same prob, it is the beta add-on you need and you should be set. Upper left corner of the Java page you'll see it and download from there. Hope this helps....I'm still learning myself.
Cheers.
