whats up with chat?

Hey, Thanks Spook and Andrew_56......but now when I try to sign in on chat a message "error cannot connect to server"....is that because chat is not on?

I won't be going tuesday on the investigation but would like to sign in on chat . Thanks!!!!!!

mm.. it sounds like a bit more is going on. not sure what beta add-on andrew is talking about, as i have never had a problem.
andrew? can you clear that up? or Tim?

what i'd recommend you do Norene, go to your "system tray" (where your icons are at the bottom of the putor) and right click on the Java icon.
then click on "Java Control Panel"
then click on "default Java for Browsers"
and in there be sure you have the type of browser you are using with a check mark next to it.

if that's all a go.. i'd ask andrew to explain about the beta add-on. as i don't see it on mine at all.
