hi all in livescifitvland I was trying and trying my hardest to change my pic and it wouldnt let me, says all my pics are too big or the file size is too big. Now I agree that some pics on here were toooooooooooo bigggggggggg but these are normal size avatar pics that I have edited myself to fit to avatar size. Can we just up the ante a lil bit on the pic size? Do you know how hard it is to make a pic 80x80 or to find a jpeg file thats 6kb's or less? Dangit its pretty hard for us non techno weeines out there lol...

sorry all Jay and I are upgrading our databases and our servers so that people can post multiple pictures and have photo albums. For right now the size is 80x80 and 6kb. However we should have it fixed fairly soon, off site file uploading sites is another solution. If anyone has any questions please shoot me an email.

thanks Tim I have tried that also and it doesnt work it still gives you the size constrants and now as you can see I am a pictureless person 
I got it to work then it wouldnt show my pic as you know via our pm.. OH well mslola will wait patiently until I can have a pic again thanks for all your help 😉

ok my avatar that I finally got working and will leave up just for today describes it all I had a blonde moment and was cut and pasteing my photobucket link in the wrong box Duh but I still think the dimensions of the pics could go up a little its like I said before do you know how hard it is to make a pic like that lol.. Thanks agagin Tim for all of your help and support thru my moment of blondeness.. 😳

done! i changed the coding so even though your forums pic is 80x80 your profile pic is larger.. 😉 ...let me know if you would like it larger you guys!

Is there anyway that you could go bigger on the picture scale? I tried to change my profile pic yesterday and am still running into the problem of 80x80 or 6 KB. If I am doing something wrong please let me know, but I don't think I am. I even cropped down the pic I was going to use, but it still wouldn't take it. Thanks for helping us and for all you do! You are the greatest!

dana even though the forum avatars are 80x80 the profile pictures rescale themselves to 180 x 180 . So if you want a non - pixelated community profile picture that is over 6kb I recommend using photobucket and use the off site url to upload the picture. If you have any questions let me know.
