I dont know if its just me but your EVP's tim have way to much static in them for being a digital recorder. There should be NO static what so ever, it should only pick up background noise, the investigators, and whatever possable EVP's. I dont know if you amplified them and thats why suddenly theres static, or what. But to me it sounds like your using a old tape deck recorder (Which always will have a ambient hum, or static due to the moving moter within it.) If you are using a tape recorder I suggest highly in getting a good digital mini recorder with a external mic which can be set on something solid that wont allow for it to pick up any potential electronic interferance from the recorder itself.
Just a suggestion.
P.S: Make sure the recorder has the option to turn OFF V.O.R (Voice ON Recording.)
According to this, I guess your ok. Just seems to me like alot of static.. Course with no background noise to refrence, it makes it hard to determine the volumne level of the static.

Thats a good read at any rate.
i have yet to hear the static that you are talking about, however if you point me to specific clip that you are hearing. Most of our investigators are using olympus ds40's and as far as I can tell the sound is bar none on them. We do not amplify or change our evps in any way.
Yes sorry Tim, I figured out why I was hearing static, I was refurring to when ou play the evp's on the live stream during QnA,and its cause I forget to mute your main stream.lol Again I apologize.
