Inside the investigation

In this Bath Game experiment, I take the Daruma-san legend into a dark bathtub and keep the recorder running. Listen to the playback alongside my reactions, including my check for marks after reporting a burning sensation.

These are review points. Timing-check labels record the owner’s timestamp validation; viewer reports remain unverified. Possible words and board readings are interpretations, not confirmed paranormal speech.

About this recording

Original published title: I Tried the Daruma-san Bath Game Ritual — What Happened?

YouTube publication: 2015-01-16 · Duration: 52:34

Recorded experiments and folklore accounts are presented for review. A reported experience, an apparent board sequence and a sound from a scanning radio are different sources and should be evaluated separately.

I attempt the Japanese urban-legend Bath Game, also called Daruma-san, from a dark bathtub while documenting what I experience and playing back the recorder. I'm Tim Wood from LiveSciFi. This is the original investigation or on-camera account—not a dramatized reenactment. I keep the attempted communication, equipment checks and reactions in context so you can review what was actually recorded and decide how to interpret it. 🔎 PARANORMAL EVENTS & EQUIPMENT TO REVIEW • RITUAL: I explain the legend and walk through my variation of the bathtub experiment. • EVP: A recording produces a possible voice or unusual tone that I review during the live show. • UNEXPLAINED SOUND: I react to what sounds like a childlike voice and a noise near the bathtub. • PHYSICAL SENSATION: I describe my back burning and a feeling that someone is behind me. • FOLLOW-UP: I check whether I have visible marks; no scratch is confirmed. ⏱️ YOUTUBE CHAPTERS — EVP REACTIONS & KEY MOMENTS 0:00 Preparing the Bath Game 0:52 Daruma-san Ritual Rules 1:46 The Live Audience Joins 2:52 The Japanese Urban Legend 3:52 Precautions and Setup 5:04 Explaining Our Variation 5:45 Trying the First Questions 8:21 AUDIO: Possible Responses 12:21 Calling for a Sign 18:38 Final Preparations 32:00 VIEWER REPORT · AUDIO: room noise and movement 32:14 Leaving the Bathtub 33:18 VIEWER REPORT · AUDIO: louder possible growling 47:23 EVP REVIEW: Listening Back 💬 COMMENTS & VIEWER OBSERVATIONS Several commenters debated how the traditional Japanese ritual differs from this demonstration and whether noises were ordinary sounds. 🎧 EVIDENCE REVIEW NOTES • VIEWER REPORT timestamps are shared by viewers and are not independent evidence of paranormal activity. • The broad chapter boundaries came from caption-based chapter analysis; exact spoken EVP reactions still require a playback check before any definitive label. What did you actually hear or see? Post the exact timestamp, identify whether it was the Ouija board, EVP recorder, ghost box, camera or another device, and include any ordinary explanation you would test. I review specific observations—not just claims that a demon or ghost was captured. 👻 WATCH MORE ORIGINAL LIVESCIFI INVESTIGATIONS https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLInSFRdFs5pg https://livescifi.tv/episodes/ EVIDENCE NOTE: The Bath Game is folklore; this is an account of an experiment, not evidence that a legendary figure appeared. Recorder artifacts, reflections, radio reception and viewer expectations can affect the interpretation of apparent activity. #DarumaSan #BathGame #LiveSciFi
