Cabin Near Donner Lake: Ovilus, EVP Questions & Reported Taps

Tim Wood and Lily investigate a cabin near Donner Lake during a snowstorm, accompanied by their dog Patches. This is a modern cabin near the Donner Party sites, not a surviving original Donner Party cabin. Lily offers impressions of rooms while the team interprets Ovilus words and briefly uses a radio ghost box. They report cold or pressured feelings, taps, light or orb-like shapes and later breathing and crawling-like noises. They also discuss ordinary possibilities: heating/furnace sounds, snow, dust and an animal outside. A recorder session begins upstairs with questions about the area and its history; at the end Tim says he will review the recording, so a completed EVP playback is not shown. Lily conducts an automatic-writing/channeling experiment with responses attributed to her impressions, not established identities. Patches’ movements and gaze are discussed as observations. The recording closes with plans to revisit historic sites; those visits are described or proposed rather than shown here.

Chapters combine transcript-supported additions with existing archive chapters and attributed viewer observations where available. Source labels identify reviewed additions. Reported experiences and transcribed interpretations do not establish their cause.

Reviewed captions span 0:00–1:02:37. Auto-generated captions may mishear speech and do not independently verify audio or images. Only loaded top-level comments were sampled; replies and live chat were not exhaustively reviewed, and viewer flags remain unverified.
