A NUMBER 6 APPEARED ON MY NECK DURING A LIVE GHOST HUNT AT THE WELLES HOUSE. What caused the mark after our Ouija board experiment? I'm Tim Wood, founder of LiveSciFi, and this is Episode 16 of A House Worse Than Amityville, our extended paranormal investigation inside the reportedly haunted Welles House at 46 South Welles Street in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. JJ, Dave Spinks, and I checked EMF readings and investigated reported footsteps before taking a Ouija board, black scrying mirror, tape recorder, and ghost box into the upstairs "Hell Room." During the experiment I felt an intense sensation around my neck. At 1:35:23, the others noticed a raised mark that looked like the number 6. We stopped, recorded the mark on camera, and took photographs. It appeared to fade afterward. I cannot tell you from that footage alone what caused it, but I want you to see the sequence for yourself. The investigation didn't end there. We tested an Xbox Kinect motion-tracking system near the staircase, where we had reported a lot of unexplained activity. The display showed strange skeletal distortions. Later, Dave conducted a flashlight session on those same stairs and became physically ill afterward. Neither event proves a haunting. Watch each moment and decide what you believe. My neck felt like it was burning. JJ and Dave saw a 6-shaped mark, then filmed it as it faded. Could it have been an ordinary skin irritation, pressure, or a scratch we didn't notice at the time? We used the board alongside a dark mirror and several audio devices, trying to follow up on names and stories raised during the investigation. We discussed a possible woman seen in the mirror and interpreted several noises and box responses as words. Some questions touched on alleged curses, hidden symbols, and historical tragedies. These are unverified claims, not established house history. Ghost boxes and white-noise apps can produce accidental word-like fragments, so listen with that possibility in mind. We positioned an Xbox Kinect to track movement around the stairs. Its infrared depth sensor can generate a human-shaped skeleton from the scene, but it can also misread objects and produce false body maps. During the experiment, the displayed figure looked distorted. Does it match anyone in view, or is the software struggling with the environment? Dave asks questions while a flashlight turns on and off. After the session, he reports feeling overwhelmed and nauseated, and the team helps him recover.
