Inside this investigation
After the neck-mark episode, JJ, Dave and I return to the staircase with a different set of experiments. This recording includes Kinect tracking, infrared views, EchoVox and an EVP recorder, with a candle experiment also described in the notes. Each device produces a different kind of output. A tracking shape is not the same evidence as a sound, and neither should be treated as an identification by itself. The chapter controls help you revisit the steps of the investigation without combining unrelated observations.
I suggest watching the setup before jumping to the most striking reaction. Ask what the investigators are doing, which device is producing information and what the camera can actually show. The chapter controls help you return to a moment while keeping that wider sequence available. The complete original notes below preserve the account as it was supplied. Use this episode's discussion to share an exact timestamp, a screenshot where useful and a clear distinction between your observation and your explanation. The neighboring episodes provide additional context for how the investigation developed.

GHOSTLY VOICES AND DEMONIC STRANGE FIGURES AT 46 WELLES STREET? Watch the original Welles House footage and decide what you hear and see. I'm Tim Wood, founder of LiveSciFi. In Episode 17 of A House Worse Than Amityville, we continue our extended live paranormal investigation at 46 South Welles Street in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, also searched as 46 Welles Street. This time we're investigating unusual Kinect tracking on the staircase, possible infrared orb activity, and audio that some viewers believe contains a conversation between several voices. Following the unsettling events of the previous night, including a raised mark resembling the number 6 on my neck, Jonathan (JJ), Dave Spinks, and I regroup to investigate the staircase. We use infrared cameras, the Xbox Kinect motion-tracking system, EchoVox, an EVP recorder, and a focused candle experiment to see if we can document anything unusual. One of the most interesting sections comes at 1:20:21 during our playback of earlier recordings. A viewer hears what sounds like three voices speaking to each other. Others hear different phrases. Wear headphones, listen first without reading an interpretation, and tell us what YOU hear. EPISODE 17 - YOUTUBE CHAPTERS

1:39:02 Wrapping up and switching to static cameras THREE MOMENTS TO INVESTIGATE 54:02 - A viewer reports lines and an unusual stick-figure-like shape in the Kinect's blue detection area. Kinect sensors can generate false body maps, especially around furniture and difficult lighting conditions. Compare the camera view against the tracking display. 1:03:00 - One viewer reports a bright orb-like object coming down the stairs toward the living room. Other viewers spotted additional lights in the same area. Could these be insects or dust reflecting infrared illumination, or something worth another look? 1:20:21 - During our audio review, some viewers hear what seems to be a conversation among multiple voices, including a possible reference to Bishop. The words are interpretations, not confirmed speech. Listen at normal volume, then replay with headphones and share exactly what you hear. WHY WE KEPT RETURNING TO THE STAIRCASE The staircase at the Welles House became a focal point of our investigation after the team reported strange sounds and physical sensations in that area. Our live camera setup lets viewers monitor the space while we test equipment and review recordings. The Kinect maps body-like shapes using depth data; ghost boxes and EchoVox may produce voice-like audio from random or processed sounds. These technologies cannot, by themselves, verify a haunting. THE WELLES HOUSE - 46 SOUTH WELLES STREET The Welles House at 46 South Welles Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA, is the location featured in our A House Worse Than Amityville series. You'll also see the address written as 46 Welles Street. We spent multiple nights documenting reported paranormal experiences instead of relying on a single short investigation. This episode includes actual footage from the investigation and our team's firsthand reactions; accounts about spirits and the property's past remain claims unless independently verified. HELP US REVIEW THE FOOTAGE Did you see the Kinect anomaly at 54:02? What caused the possible orb at 1:03:00? What words do you hear at 1:20:21? Post your EXACT TIMESTAMP and explain what you noticed.
