Inside this investigation
The team conducts a séance while viewers listen for possible voices and watch the security feeds. Two reports near 35:22 and 35:34 interpret the audio as “slow it down.” I want you to hear those passages before deciding whether the words fit. Other notes identify lights or possible shapes, so keep the audio and visual observations separate when reviewing the episode. The recording offers material for comparison, while the description preserves the interpretations that originally drew attention to those moments.
For your own review, listen once without trying to hear a particular word. Then compare the suggested interpretation with the surrounding audio and the question being asked. A repeated playback can help locate a sound, but it can also make an ambiguous fragment feel more familiar. The original description below preserves the investigation notes rather than replacing them with a verdict. In this episode's discussion, give the exact time, describe what you hear and explain any ordinary source you think should be considered. You can also compare the neighboring recordings through the episode navigation.

DID A DEMON ANSWER OUR SÉANCE AT THE WELLES HOUSE? Viewers report chilling whispers, strange voices and possible shadow activity at 46 Welles Street. Listen for yourself. I'm Tim Wood, founder of LiveSciFi. In Episode 23 of A House Worse Than Amityville, we continue our paranormal investigation inside the reportedly haunted Welles House at 46 South Welles Street, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. During a séance, our team attempts to communicate with whatever may be responsible for the disturbing experiences reported inside the property. Some responses sound ominous to us, but what exactly are we hearing? Two moments in particular deserve a close listen: at 35:22 and again at 35:34, a viewer reports hearing something resembling the words "slow it down." Other viewers have flagged apparent voices earlier in the recording, orb-like lights, and a possible figure on a security-camera view. Those are viewer interpretations, not confirmed evidence of spirits or demons. Put on headphones, review the original audio without suggested words first, and tell me what YOU hear. 00:00 Welles House séance investigation footage begins
10:40 Viewer reports a possible figure in the upper-right camera
11:23 Viewer-reported voice-like phrases in the audio
35:22 Possible whisper after "That was a hiss"
35:34 Another reported "slow it down" response
1:10:25 Viewer-reported orb-like lights in the living room
1:37:40 Possible "I don't want to" after "Let's go outside" 35:22 AND 35:34 - THE MYSTERIOUS WHISPERS At 35:22, immediately after someone says, "That was a hiss," one viewer hears what sounds like "Shhh, slow it down." At 35:34, after "You're not allowed in this session," the same viewer reports a second response that sounds like "slow it down." Is there a distinct voice beneath the conversation, or could the recording and our expectations be shaping what we hear? These moments are close together, making them ideal for a careful A/B listen. MORE VIEWER TIMESTAMPS TO INVESTIGATE 10:40 - A viewer calls attention to the upper-right security-camera view, reporting what appears to be a ghostly shape. 11:23-11:34 - A viewer interprets several short audio fragments as hostile phrases, including one mentioning Dave. Please listen before reading suggested words; people can perceive different speech in ambiguous sound. 1:10:25 - A viewer reports multiple orb-like lights moving around the left side of the living room over roughly two minutes. 1:37:40 - After someone says, "Let's go outside," a viewer hears a quiet "I don't want to" and questions whether anyone visible in the scene said it. Other comments mention bright objects moving through rooms. Dust close to an infrared lens, insects, reflections, microphone interference and compression can produce convincing but ordinary anomalies. We want to examine the actual footage, not declare a haunting from a comment alone. THE WELLES HOUSE SÉANCE - WHAT WAS COMMUNICATING? A séance is an attempt to contact spirits through focused questions and responses. In this investigation, some exchanges led us to wonder whether a hostile or allegedly demonic presence was involved. That was our impression during the experiment, not a verified identity. Sounds heard through recording equipment are especially easy to misinterpret when voices overlap or audio quality is limited. Review the full conversation and the quieter moments around each possible response. 46 SOUTH WELLES STREET - A HOUSE WORSE THAN AMITYVILLE The Welles House at 46 South Welles Street in Wilkes-Barre, PA, also searched as 46 Welles Street, is the location featured throughout our long-running LiveSciFi investigation. By preserving extended recordings rather than presenting only short highlights, we give viewers a chance to revisit reported paranormal activity, possible EVPs, disembodied-sounding voices, moving shadows and security-camera anomalies in context. The location's haunting reputation is a claim being investigated, not proof of a supernatural cause. HELP US INVESTIGATE EPISODE 23 Do you hear "slow it down" at 35:22 or 35:34?
