Inside this investigation
Viewers interpreted part of the ghost-box audio as two voices exchanging “Stop him” and “I can't.” Other moments include my report of red eyes, camera-light observations and the team's account of a moving door. The episode begins on what we called our final night, with the investigation continuing into another segment. The chapters help keep those events and interpretations in order. Listen to the apparent exchange independently, then compare what can be seen and heard around the other reports.
For your own review, listen once without trying to hear a particular word. Then compare the suggested interpretation with the surrounding audio and the question being asked. A repeated playback can help locate a sound, but it can also make an ambiguous fragment feel more familiar. The original description below preserves the investigation notes rather than replacing them with a verdict. In this episode's discussion, give the exact time, describe what you hear and explain any ordinary source you think should be considered. You can also compare the neighboring recordings through the episode navigation.

DID OUR GHOST BOX CAPTURE TWO SPIRITS TALKING TO EACH OTHER? During our live Welles House investigation, one viewer heard what sounded like two voices exchanging “Stop him!” and “I can't.” Other viewers flagged a possible orb as the box seemed to say “Demon.” Later, I reported seeing red eyes in the darkness, and the team witnessed a door move unexpectedly. I'm Tim Wood, founder of LiveSciFi. In Episode 42 of A House Worse Than Amityville, JJ, Dave, Bambi and I continue investigating the reportedly haunted Welles House at 46 South Welles Street in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania (also searched as 46 Welles Street). This recording begins on what we called our final night in the house, but the investigation continues into a separate livestream after this segment ends. EPISODE 42 — YOUTUBE CHAPTERS

3:56:01 Moving to the next live investigation segment DID TWO VOICES ANSWER EACH OTHER? Around 1:18:00, viewers pointed out an orb-like light while the ghost box seemed to say “Demon.” At approximately 1:20:00, another viewer heard what sounded like one voice saying “Stop him!” and a second answering “I can't.” Those are viewer interpretations of ambiguous audio, not proof of two separate entities. Listen before reading the suggested words and tell me what YOU hear. RED EYES AND A DOOR THAT MOVED At 2:01:35, I report seeing what looks like two red eyes in a very dark room. Around 2:02:33, I also react to a white light-like anomaly. Then at 2:06:36, the team describes a door moving open and closed near the back stairwell, accompanied by a cold breeze. The recording captures our reactions; it does not establish what produced the lights or door movement. Check for reflections, airflow, moving light sources and camera effects. WHY WE KEPT ASKING ABOUT LEGION AND MARK 5 Earlier ghost box audio was interpreted as referring to Mark 5, the biblical chapter containing the account of Jesus encountering a man associated with the name Legion. We revisit that reference during this investigation. It gives context to our questions, but it doesn't identify any presence in the house as a demon. FLASHLIGHTS, GHOST BOX VOICES AND NIGHT CAMERAS The later sessions include questions in an upstairs room, flashlights switching on and off, and a staircase equipment experiment. Flashlights set near their switching threshold can activate without paranormal involvement; radio-scan ghost boxes and word-generating devices can also produce misleading fragments. These are the experiments we filmed, not verified spirit communications. HELP US REVIEW EPISODE 42 Do you hear two different voices at 1:20:00?
