as alot of you know i have had alot of problems when livescifi streams..usually what happens is my chat is just fine, but as soon as the stream starts i lose one of my two if not both video boxes and lose my streams completely this is what it shows (im using the disney channel as an example as it contains flash)
i run xpsp2 and have adobe shockwave 9 and adobe flashplayer 9 active x both required to run either livescifi site or other sites..
i noticed on tues night after another day of trying to solve my problem, that when the stream came up i did not receive the error, i thot the problem was solved but then realized wait livescifi is only running 1 stream not the usual two..so i fear my problem is my crappy computer cannot handle the two streams live at the same time...if anyone knows of anything i can possibly do besides buying a new comp with better video card and motherboard..or has experienced this problem in the past or just is good with figuring out flash problems please let me know...this has been an ongoing problem of mine since probably 5 or 6 months now...thanks for anyone who takes a stab at this 😁 I have missed alot of shows due to this problem which upsets me as i never missed shows before..now if i have to watch i must open a few browsers, one in ustream and one in livescifi chat..then float chat along side of ustream, then open another browser just to watch the quad cams..i fear my computer will blow lol...anyhow any help or advice would be appreciated

train have you tried to update your drivers? i dunno if this will work but i did notice that the streams were usually buffing when i was on dial-up so i was unable to watch the video streams till i got back on cable, you should be able to go to your control panel then device manager and open the video card slot right click on the video card and the option to search for updates should pop up, if theres no update for it it should tell you that your driver is the best available for your computer if there is an update it should ask if you want to update it i hope this helps as we all miss you

hey thank you crypt for the advice...i kinda know i need a new video card..im too embarrassed to say what i have..just that um lol card is so old there is no update on drivers believe me..i either need a new computer or a good graphics card and im sure a new hard drive...my friend who gave me another box when my hard drive burned..gave me well i believe his kids computer box..and well lets just say its not that good..but hey it was free and it works..only place i had the problem 99% of the time was livescifi site..not ustream, jtv or anywhere else..then i got it on disney channel as its a good place to check out flash..it showed up there the error, but after i posted this i managed to get rid of a flash that was making the computer confused on what to use...anyhow all is good now..have both streams up and running as of last night..just failed to get into chat..but for me that is just a small problem..i can climb that hill ..lol..and i believe Tim is changing something for flash chat..so that may be my problem solved there too..so i will just sit and wait..but thank you so much for responding to my problem..you are a true friend 😁
