LiveSciFi at the Monroe House
The Monroe House in Hartford City, Indiana, became the subject of a planned 100-hour LiveSciFi investigation beginning February 16, 2017. A contemporary interview with Tim Wood described a continuous broadcast on LiveSciFi’s website and YouTube channel.
In her February 14 preview, journalist Celina Summers described reported voices, shadow figures, and other unusual experiences associated with the property. Those accounts explain the team’s interest in the location, but they do not independently establish a supernatural cause.
History, claims, and evidence
Summers also distinguished local legends from records she could verify. That distinction matters: a story about a house, an investigator’s interpretation, and a documented historical event are different kinds of evidence.
When reviewing an investigation, consider the complete recording, conditions at the location, equipment limitations, and ordinary explanations alongside witness accounts. An announcement of a broadcast does not establish what the investigation ultimately found.
