Inside this investigation

Our final night in Oklahoma City brings a different board and another attempt to compare letter movements with electronic recordings. Repeating the ZoZo name 28 times is part of the experiment described in the source notes; it does not establish who or what produced a response. I revisit this session for its changes in method, the team’s reactions to sudden sounds and the opportunity to compare this night with the preceding two.

For the recorder passages, I recommend listening before reading the words suggested in the notes. Compare the volume, nearby speech and surrounding room noise, and say whether you hear a voice at all. A proposed phrase is an interpretation of the recording, not a substitute for the audio.

The ghost-box passages deserve a different listening approach from an isolated recorder session. Radio fragments, scanning sounds and our own questions can all affect the words a listener recognizes. I keep those passages attached to their original context so an apparent answer can be compared with what came before it.
