Inside this investigation

During this late-night solo session I question letter sequences associated with names including Teddy and Christy, then pause as noises interrupt the room. I keep the audio experiments and board movements in the same continuous record so their order can be reviewed. The names are readings proposed during the investigation, rather than identities independently established by the board.

When reviewing the board, follow the letter order and spoken questions as well as the eventual phrase. A name or message in the notes records the interpretation made during the investigation. It does not independently identify a communicator. Comparing the movement with the suggested wording is part of reviewing the experiment.

For the recorder passages, I recommend listening before reading the words suggested in the notes. Compare the volume, nearby speech and surrounding room noise, and say whether you hear a voice at all. A proposed phrase is an interpretation of the recording, not a substitute for the audio.
