Inside this investigation

This entry continues a run of board experiments with uncertain names and ominous interpretations, interrupted by noises I stop to question. A viewer also marks a moving bright speck behind me. I want that visual report tied to the original camera view rather than summarized as an identified entity. The surrounding frames may be as useful as the precise instant a viewer first notices it.

When reviewing the board, follow the letter order and spoken questions as well as the eventual phrase. A name or message in the notes records the interpretation made during the investigation. It does not independently identify a communicator. Comparing the movement with the suggested wording is part of reviewing the experiment.

For a sudden sound, compare the lead-up with the team’s response and any ordinary activity nearby. A noise may be easy to locate in a recording but difficult to identify. Describing its timing, character and possible source is more useful than assigning it an identity because of the question being asked.
