Inside this investigation

With Patches nearby, I compare board questions, a PSB7 ghost box and a digital recorder. The number sequence “726” and an uncomfortable mark on my arm become subjects in the source account. I want the radio-scan audio and physical report distinguished from the board reading. Events occurring in one session may be compared without assuming that they share a cause.

The ghost-box passages deserve a different listening approach from an isolated recorder session. Radio fragments, scanning sounds and our own questions can all affect the words a listener recognizes. I keep those passages attached to their original context so an apparent answer can be compared with what came before it.

When reviewing the board, follow the letter order and spoken questions as well as the eventual phrase. A name or message in the notes records the interpretation made during the investigation. It does not independently identify a communicator. Comparing the movement with the suggested wording is part of reviewing the experiment.
