Inside this investigation

Kristen Manning and the investigation team join me for an interactive session with board work, reportedly haunted objects, a recorder and a scrying mirror. A playback prompts a possible “I’M IN THE ROOM” interpretation. I want the group’s reactions and the original audio available together, while keeping the objects’ reported histories separate from what the recorder actually captured during this session.

For the recorder passages, I recommend listening before reading the words suggested in the notes. Compare the volume, nearby speech and surrounding room noise, and say whether you hear a voice at all. A proposed phrase is an interpretation of the recording, not a substitute for the audio.

When reviewing the board, follow the letter order and spoken questions as well as the eventual phrase. A name or message in the notes records the interpretation made during the investigation. It does not independently identify a communicator. Comparing the movement with the suggested wording is part of reviewing the experiment.
